Heng Ching Fang

Taiwanese violist Heng Ching Fang is the finalist and the only string player in the 2003 Ludlow Philharmonic Concerto Competition in Great Britain. She has also won the First Prize in the Taipei West District Viola Competition and received the Third Prize of the National Viola Competition in Taiwan.
Heng Ching grew up in Taiwan. She has been awarded a Postgraduate Diploma at Birmingham Conservatoire and a Master of Music Degree in Guildhall School of Music & Drama. She is currently studying a Doctor of Philosophy Degree at University of Leeds.

Heng Ching has been invited as the member of Pacific Music Festival, Schleswig Holstein Music Festival, London Charity Orchestra, Asian Young Orchestra and in recitals in Great Britain, China, Taiwan, Germany, France, Hong Kong and Japan with conductors Christoph Eschenbach, Valery Gergiev , Benard Haitink, Edo de wart, Krzyszt of Penderecki, Ween Pin Chen and Bright Sheng.
